Disable Major Foxit Upgrades but Keep Minor Updates

Starting from Foxit PDF Editor perpetual version 12.1, Foxit has introduced an option in the Foxit Customization Wizard tool, Foxit GPO template, and Foxit XML Editor that allows users to disable notifications and downloads for major updates through the in-product update function, while still allowing notifications and downloads for minor/maintenance updates and plug-ins.

To enable this feature, navigate to Preferences > Update Settings > Disable major updates, but still show minor/maintenance updates in the Foxit Customization Wizard tool, Foxit GPO template, or Foxit XML Editor. Set this option to Enabled.

Once enabled, the automatic update function will only display and allow downloads for minor/maintenance updates, ensuring you are not notified about major upgrades.
