Fix Foxit PDF IFilter Internet Connection Error

Troubleshoots the No Internet connection error that occurs when trying to activate Foxit PDF iFilter for a server.

Answer

If you try to activate Foxit PDF iFilter on the server using the license key code directly, you will receive a prompt saying "No Internet connection, please check and try again". This is because the license key code cannot be used to directly activate Foxit PDF iFilter anymore. You need to contact the Foxit Support team and provide them with your current license key code. To contact Foxit Support team, please call 1-866-693-6948 or submit a ticket via the Foxit support page: [Submit Ticket](https://www.foxit.com/support/ticket.html Support team will help you replace the license key code with a license key file called "key.txt". After you receive the new key.txt file, you can follow one of the methods below to activate Foxit PDF iFilter:
Method 1: The Foxit PDF iFilter installer will prompt you to Register or Activate. If you missed it, please go to the installation directory (for example, the default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF iFilter") and run the IFilterActivation.exe tool. Choose Activate and follow the instructions on the screen. The instructions will instruct you to copy the full content of your license key.txt file and paste it into the text field provided by the Activation tool. Once activated, the key text file will appear in the main installation directory of Foxit PDF iFilter.

Method 2: Save the key.txt file directly into the main installation folder of your Foxit PDF iFilter, for example, the default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF iFilter".
