Fix Foxit Print Dialog on External Monitors

Provides a fix for the Foxit PDF Editor print dialog window not displaying correctly on an external monitor.

Answer

Situation:

When attempting to print from Foxit PDF Editor, why does the print dialog window not display on the external monitor I am working from? Instead, it opens behind other applications on the main laptop display, and the only way to bring it forward is by toggling the taskbar on the external monitor.

Cause:

This issue may occur if the screen resolution is too large for the monitor.

Solution:

You can resolve this issue by adjusting the high DPI settings of your Foxit PDF Editor application. Here are the steps:
1.Right-click on the Foxit PDF Editor icon on your desktop, select 'Properties'from pop-up context menu .
2.Navigate to the 'Compatibility' tab, click on 'Change high DPI settings'.
3.Under the 'High DPI scaling override' section, check the box for 'Override high DPI scaling behavior'.In the dropdown menu for 'Scaling performed by:', select 'System (Enhanced)'.
