Foxit eSign Release Notes for July 2025

This release includes key updates to Foxit eSign. Personalized field names now show as tooltips, templates can be shared externally, Android signing pages auto-zoom, fields adapt to screen sizes, checkbox-dependent fields toggle correctly, template sharing notifications are improved, synced entries show their source, and SMS authentication links via API now work reliably.

The full name of personalized fields now appears as a tooltip when hovering over the field name in the sidebar on the Prepare page, making it easier to identify and manage fields.

Users can now share templates with external users from other organizations by adding them to the address book, streamlining collaboration across teams.

Tapping a field on the signing page now automatically zooms and centers the screen, improving visibility and making interaction easier on Android devices.

Fields on the Prepare and Signing pages automatically adjust to different screen sizes, ensuring proper alignment and a smoother user experience across devices.

The dependent text field linked to a checkbox now updates correctly. It will consistently appear when the checkbox is checked and hide when it’s unchecked, ensuring reliable field behavior in online forms.

Recipients now receive an email notification when a template is shared, and senders get a confirmation alert after successful sharing, ensuring clear communication and tracking of shared templates.

A new Source column has been added to the Address Book and Email Groups, clearly indicating the origin of synced entries from third-party sources for better tracking and management.

The API now correctly sends SMS messages with a valid signing link, ensuring recipients can access and complete documents smoothly on their mobile devices.
