Foxit eSign Release Notes for June 2026

1. Allow Autosave of Documents While Preparing

Users can now enable autosave for documents during preparation, reducing the risk of losing work progress.

  • Autosave can be enabled or disabled at account and department level
  • When enabled, documents save automatically at set intervals or on page navigation
  • A toast notification confirms each automatic save
  • Autosave is disabled by default to preserve audit trail integrity for compliance-focused organizations

 

2. Usage Summary Now Available on the Billing Page

Account owners and billing admins can now view a Usage Summary directly on the Billing page.

  • Shows current billing cycle and up to 12 previous billing cycles
  • Cycles are ordered from most recent to oldest

 

3. Billing Page Layout Enhancements

The Billing page has been updated with improved labels and display formatting to provide a clearer and more consistent experience. Senders is now shown as User Licenses, Folders is now shown as Envelopes, and unlimited plan quota now displays as Unlimited across all relevant fields.

 

4. Email Template Migration (Import and Export)

Account owners can now export email templates from one Foxit eSign account and import them into another.

  • Supports migration of email templates across accounts and company IDs
  • Eliminates the need to recreate templates from scratch on new licenses
  • Ensures consistent, organization-wide email templates across accounts

 

5. Improved Email Template Selection

Administrators can now disable the default Foxit eSign email template on the Review and Send screen.

  • Prevents users from accidentally selecting the default template when custom templates are configured
  • Ensures only approved organization templates are available during sending
  • Reduces risk of sending documents with unintended email content
  • Available as an admin-controlled setting

 

6. CAS Authentication Screen for SSO Bulk Send Fixed

An issue where the CAS authentication screen was not appearing when an SSO user opened a document sent via bulk send has been resolved.

  • CAS screen now displays correctly for SSO users in bulk send workflows
  • Ensures authentication is consistently enforced across all send methods

 

7. Text Formatting in PDF Form Fields Fixed

An issue causing multi-line text in PDF form fields to collapse into a single line when sent for eSign has been resolved.

  • Multi-line field content now displays correctly during signing
  • Resolves readability issues for documents with multi-line text field data
  • Ensures field formatting is preserved from the original document

8. Set Password Prompt for Delegated SSO Users Fixed

An issue where delegated SSO users were incorrectly prompted to set a password during signing has been resolved.

  • SSO authentication is now correctly applied throughout the delegation workflow
  • Delegates are no longer shown a set password screen when login is required
  • Consistent authentication experience maintained for SSO users
