Foxit Not Loading Digital ID Signatures After Importing Trusted Certificate

Troubleshoots an issue where Foxit PDF Editor does not load Digital ID signatures after a digital certificate has been imported.

Answer

If the Foxit PDF Editor Software does not show any signatures available from the dropdown under the Sign & Certify, Sign Document window:

 

But the expectation is that there should be signatures loaded from a Trusted Certificate that's been loaded into Foxit:

Please keep in mind that the certificate must have the Secure Email added to the Extended Key Usage for the certificate to show up in Foxit. This is to conform to RFC 5280 (Internet X.509 Public Key Infrastructure Certificate and Certificate Revocation List (CRL) Profile)

Existing certificates that do not adhere to these requirements are not able to be loaded into the Foxit Software for signature validation.

Please be advised that this is a new standard among PDF Software to keep signatures better secured. Adobe follows this verification of loading Trusted Certificates for Signature usage as well
