Short answerOpen Workspace Settings > Usage to see your current plan and how many AI credits you've used. The number shown is credits used so far this cycle, not your remaining balance -- so "0 Credits" means you haven't used any yet, not that you're out.
Applies to: Foxit Workspace and Foxit PDF Editor/Reader Desktop's AI Assistant, version 2026.2 and later -- Usage settings work the same way in both.Where do I see my AI credit usage?- Open Workspace Settings and select Usage from the left-hand settings menu.
- Under Current Plan, you'll see which subscription your seat is assigned to (for example, "AI Assistant").
- The Credits Used section shows a single number and the date your monthly credits reset.
No. The number next to Credits Used counts what you've consumed this billing cycle -- it resets to 0 automatically on the date shown (for example, "Monthly credits reset on Oct 2, 2026"). A new account or a lightly used one will correctly show 0 here simply because nothing has been spent yet this cycle.
The Details section below it breaks down usage (viewable by day, week, or month via the "Credits Used" dropdown) and shows "No credit usage yet" until you've used the AI Assistant at least once.
How do I get more AI credits?Whether you see a self-serve option depends on your plan. Enterprise-seat accounts have no purchase button on the Usage tab -- credit capacity for those is managed by your administrator. An individually-paid account instead shows a different layout -- "X% remaining" instead of "Credits Used" -- plus a working Get More Credits button:
When credits run out entirely, Workspace shows this banner rather than silently failing:
