We have made some changes to the Foxit PDF Editor in response to the recent updates in the Windows 11 operating system. This article provides a comprehensive guide for users to understand these changes and how to adapt to them.

In the latest version of the Windows 11 operating system, third-party filters are no longer supported. Consequently, starting from Foxit PDF Editor v13.x, we have removed the IFilter module from the main program. This module now requires a separate download and installation.
Below are the steps to download and install the IFilter module:
1. Open the webpage: https://www.foxit.com/pdf-editor/addons.html
2. Switch to "Foxit PDF Editor for Windows".
3. Select IFilter, then click on "Download".
4. In the "Download IFilter" dialog box, you can choose either the fzip or msi installation package.
Note: For the fzip installation, simply follow the instructions on the page to complete the installation. The msi installation package can be used for batch deployment.
Additional Information:
The Windows 11 system has a built-in native PDF filter library. This library allows the operating system to search for, organize and manage PDF files natively, making third-party PDF filters redundant in many cases.
