Background: There are two types of users in admin console, Directory users(Synced from identity provider, such as Azure , Google Workspace, etc) and invited users. In this article, we explain how to reset those users' password.
How to do?1.Directory Users
For this types of users, credentials are managed by identity provider rather than Foxit portal. To reset directory users passwords, IT administrators need to log in to the identity provider platform.
E.g.
The directory user Cindy was from Azure portal.
To reset the password, I need to login Azure portal >Directory > Users , find this user and click to reset password.
2. Invited users
As a super admin, log into the admin console portal Admin Console | Foxit Software , and follow the below steps.
- Navigate to User ID Management>Users, select Invited users.
- Choose the Magnifying glass menu on the right corner, as a screenshot.
- Click Rest Password, and the user will receive the email from Foxit and follow the link to reset the password.
3. Invited users
The credentials are stored in Foxit system. To reset the password, users could access to Foxit platform https://account.foxit.com > Click "Forgot Password" to reset.
