Support for Foxit PDF Editor v11 and v12 has been discontinued as of August 13, 2025. Upgrade to v14 to continue receiving support.
*This will turn off autosave which will also turn off the autosave sync, which will prevent any .tmp files to sync with the application in the event of application crashing before any recent saving
In Foxit PDF Editor:
Navigate to File> Preferences
Within Documents Section, uncheck the "Automatically Save" box
*May need to relaunch App for changes to take effect
In Registry Editor:
*first make sure the Foxit Software is closed
Launch Registry Editor
Navigate to HKEY_USERS\SSID\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor 11.0\Preferences\Documents\AutoSaveDocs
Double-click the string named bAutoSaveDocsEnabled
Change string value from 1 to 0
Click "OK" and relaunch Application
