Support for Foxit PDF Editor v11 and v12 has been discontinued as of August 13, 2025. Upgrade to v14 to continue receiving support.
To move your user Fill&Sign signatures to another computer, you only need to copy the folder with the Fill&Sign signatures stored on the target computer.
The user Fill&Sign sign signatures in Foxit PDF Reader and Foxit PDF Editor for Windows are stored in the following directories separately :
For subscription licensed version 2023.x and later versions:
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Continuous\Foxit PDF Reader\InstaSign\UserSign
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Continuous\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign
For perpetual licensed version 13.x and later versions:
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Classic\Foxit PDF Reader\InstaSign\UserSign
C:\Users[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Classic\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign
For Versions higher than V11.2.0 but lower than V12.0:
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Reader\FoxitSign\UserSign

Example: (taking version 12.x)
To move PDF sign signatures in Foxit PDF Reader for Windows desktop from USER1 computer with current login username AAA to Foxit PDF Reader for Windows desktop on USER2 computer with current login username BBB, you will copy the whole 'InstaSign' folder from“C:\Users\AAA\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Reader\” to “C:\Users\BBB\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Reader\”.
You could also choose to run a script for the batch transfer of Fill&SIgn signatures:
If the signatures are still present in C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign, you can simply run a short batch script like:
XCOPY "%appdata%\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign\" "%appdata%\Foxit Software\Classic\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign\" /E /I /Y
In addition, if you often need to add PDF Sign signatures to PDF files on multiple computers, it is recommended that you choose to save the PDF sign signatures as online signatures in the manage signatures panel so that you can select your created signature from online signatures directly on any computer.
Note: To move Foxit Fill&Sign signatures from Foxit PhantomPDF to Foxit PDF Editor, which version is higher than V11.2.0 but lower than V12.0, please do the following:
1.On old device with Foxit PhantomPDF installed, please copy all of the files from the following folder：
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\InstaSign\UserSign
2:On your new device with Foxit PDF Editor installed, please delete file "compatiable.ini" from the following folder if you could it there:
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\InstaSign\UserSign
3:Paste the copied files into the following folder on your new computer:
C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\FoxitSign\UserSign
