Troubleshooting: Temporary Fix for GPO Plugin Removal Issue in Foxit PDF Editor v2024.x Managed by Foxit Admin Console

Answer

If you're encountering problems with Group Policy Objects (GPO) not effectively removing plugins in Foxit PDF Editor v2024.x, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Foxit admin console account at "https://adminconsole.foxit.com".
2. Navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Product Configuration'.
3. Select the 'Feature Settings' tab.
4. Click on “Foxit PDF Editor Windows”.
5. Tick all configuration options such as “Cloud Documents, AI assistant” etc., and click 'Save'.

Afterward, in the GPO's remove plugins settings, add a check to “Cloud Documents” and click “Apply”.

Once the GPO configuration is synced to the client, restart Foxit PDF Editor, log in, and the plugins removed by GPO will no longer load.

Please note that this is a temporary solution. Always ensure to keep your software updated for a more permanent fix.
